Basic Voodoo Spells

Everwake - 2cp
The character requires no food, nor water, nor sleep for the rest of his life (or until the magick enhancement is somehow removed).
Everwake: At dawn, the caster mashes together apples, cherries, caraway, ginger and nutmeg, and adds a pinch of ground up ivory and a snake tounge as they store it in an open bottle. They then leave it to ferment in an area that gets a lot of natural heat and sunlight for three days and nights. During this time, they must not eat a scrap of food or sleep a single wink, though they may drink water. At sunrise of the fourth day, they must consume the fragrant potion they have concocted. If the ritual works, all tiredness and hunger accumulated over the past three days vanishes in an instant. This ritual cannot be rushed, as the potion requires time to ferment.

Soul Bag
The caster combines a drop of the caster's blood, sweat and tears, rum1, cane sugar1 and swamp water in a simple hempen bag, speaks the incantation while shaking it and turns it inside out. If done correctly, the bag will become lacquered in design with all kinds of shapes and colors that would reflect the color and shape of one's outlook and soul (for example, Takeru Hikarino is straight-laced, cold and purposeful, so his soul bag is icy blue with gold and silver boxy designs. Maurice Colverston-Fitt is fanciful, happy-go-lucky, and has an overactive libido, so his soul bag is tie-dye purple with yellow and copper swirls and suns.) This soul bag is then used as a component or catalyst for a variety of other rituals. Magickal items and components stored in soul bags do not degrade in magickal worth or usefulness, though they still decompose physically as per normal.
1Rum and cane sugar can be replaced by another kind of alcohol and its unfermented version, such as gin and juniper berries. Rum is stated because it is more traditional.

Hex of Shrivelling
The caster grinds up Cypress, Dandelion and Marjoram into very fine powders, and places them all into a soul bag together with a drop of caster's blood. The caster then performs an hour-long somantic and incantation in ceremonial clothing. After the incantation, they expose a naked flame to the lip of the bag. If the ritual is performed correctly, a lick of flame spurts from the bag and left in the bag is vibrant yellow ash known as 'Shrivel Dust'. This spell makes five portions.
Shrivel dust, when sprinkled upon a target alongside a special 'trigger' incantation confers -2 Toughness and Strength for 10 minutes. To do this in combat, the attacker must make a marksmanship attack using the dust in melee range and have the voodoo magick advantage.

Hex of Stupor
The caster grinds up Chervil, Garlic and Rose Petals into very fine powders, and places them all into a soul bag together with a drop of caster's blood. The caster then performs an hour-long somantic and incantation in ceremonial clothing. After the incantation, they expose a naked flame to the lip of the bag. If the ritual is performed correctly, a lick of flame spurts from the bag and left in the bag is light pink ash known as 'Stupor Dust'. This spell makes five portions.
Stupor dust, when sprinkled upon a target alongside a special 'trigger' incantation confers -2 Intelligence and Willpower for 10 minutes. To do this in combat, the attacker must make a marksmanship attack using the dust in melee range and have the voodoo magick advantage.

Hex of The Night
The caster grinds up Caraway, Dill and Fennel into very fine powders, and places them all into a soul bag together with a drop of caster's blood. The caster then performs an hour-long somantic and incantation in ceremonial clothing. After the incantation, they expose a naked flame to the lip of the bag. If the ritual is performed correctly, a lick of flame spurts from the bag and left in the bag is deep purple ash known as 'Night Dust'. This spell makes five portions.
Night dust, when sprinkled upon a target alongside a special 'trigger' incantation confers -2 Perception and Defense for 10 minutes. It also make all things appear to the victim as if it were night. To do this in combat, the attacker must make a marksmanship attack using the dust in melee range and have the voodoo magick advantage.
