Gabriel Iago

Gabriel Iago (1470-1508, 1508-2009) was an Italian soldier who, for reasons best known to himself, developed an intense hatred of his superior officer, a Moor called Othello. He manipulated Othello masterfully, causing the Moor to smother his Italian wife to death with a pillow in a fit of insane jealous rage. Shortly after, however, Iago's lies were revealed and he was placed under arrest and sentenced to death. The night before his execution however, Dracula, abducted the master manipulator from his cell and turned him into a vampire.

Gabriel was the eldest of the Progenitor vampires sired by Dracula and he and his line have the gift of potent mind control, as well as stronger wills.
