Hades

Hades is an Olympian and an older brother of Zeus. He rules over the set of underground tunnels on Olympus that lead down to Tartarus. These caves are also, confusingly, called Hades. Hades has earth-control powers and is a powerful medium and it is because of the latter talent that he guards the portal to Tartarus to ensure the ghosts of the titans do not return to trouble Olympus.

Ghosts on Olympus tend to congregate in Hades' domain, serving as his servants and courtiers. Of all the Olympians gods, Hades is one of the most pleasant to serve. While he is, like his realm, grim and joyless, he is rarely cruel and is often moved by compassion for the less powerful.
