Guns

All gun and ammo modifications can also be applied to bows, crossbows etc and their ammo.

Free Weapon Modifications

Teflon Ammo: Special issue ammunition with a hard point and Teflon coating that is designed to penetrate armor at the expense of aerodynamics. A weapon loaded with Teflon ammo grants: -2 Damage, Halves Enemy Soak. Not compatible with shotguns.

Hollow Point Ammo: Bullets with a hollow point ringed with tiny grooves designed to shatter upon impact and get under the skin. Favoured by gangs. A weapon loaded with hollow points grants: +2 Damage, Doubles Enemy Soak. Not compatible with shotguns.

Incendiary Ammo: Special bullets designed to burst into flames upon impact. Deals Fire Damage.

Silver Bullets: Bullets designed to exploit the weaknesses of werewolves. Deals Silver Damage.

Slight Weapon Modifications

Finely Balanced Weapon: Most weapons are made so that their power or balance is limited to beneath its potential so that it doesn't break too quickly, however there are some that are crafted a bit closer to the line. Any basic or military weapon may be made finely balanced. A finely balanced weapon confers +2 to damage on its first shot or swing per round.

High Quality Weapon: Many weapons are made in factories by underpaid workers, but there is the occasional weapon that is lovingly handcrafted or modified by an expert weaponsmith or gunsmith. Any basic or military weapon may be made high quality. A high quality weapon confers +1 to hit when using it.

Miniaturised/Pistol Version: The trend in modern technology is to make things smaller and smaller and weapons are no exception. Any basic or military weapon may be miniature or have a pistol version. Two handed weapons are still two handed due to aiming and recoil issues. These weapons gain the Subtle and Quick Draw tags.

Tungsten Rounds: AKA Wullets. You possess an amount of tungsten bullets designed for a specified weapon you own. When using the tungsten rounds with that weapon, they ignore half the enemy's soak.

Minor Weapon Modifications

Hellfire Bullets: Special ammunition made by The Agency, and chiefly Maurice Colverston-Fitt. Grants +4 Damage. Weapon deals fire damage.

Magickal Bullets: Special ammunition made and peddled by Earth-bound Shrekes. Grants +2 Damage, +2 to hit.

Time Bullets: Special ammunition deployed chiefly by the Time Nazis +2 Damage, +1 to hit. Additionally, if the firer is a free agent, they may elect to delay the effects of pain, injury and even sensation of the bullets by up to five minutes or until they decide to 'set them off'. Time bullets ignore time distortion based force fields and defense mechanisms, such as the temporal decrepitation device carried by Heinrich Himmler, the graviton defense module used by Hugh Charlesworthy and the distortion generators used by HACS.

Slightly Enchanted: The weapon emits a feint glow that causes -1 to stealth when not sheathed or hidden. It grants +1 damage, and and extra +1 to the base damage on a critical hit. If you bought one of these weapons thinking it was magickal, you have been ripped off.

Sudden Weapon: This is a metal gauntlet that reaches up to the elbow. Hidden within it are various parts to a weapon of your choice that snap together ready to use with a flick of the wrist. This adds quick draw and subtle to a one handed basic weapon of your choice.

Minor Modifications

Magickal Weapon: A blade beautiful as it is powerful. 'Manufactured' by Earth's Shreke families, it is impossible for a ley person to tell the difference between these swords and a normal one. +2 to Damage, +2 to hit and +1 to Defense.

Niflthrum Weapon: A weapon made from the exquisite but dangerous metal Niflthrum, smithed by the fae of Yggdrassil. It grants +10 Damage and adds the cold descriptor. It deals 5 Cold Damage to wielder every round unless they are immune or are a without.

Muspellthrum Weapon: A weapon made from the volatile metal Muspellthrum, smithed by the Weisälfr. It grants +10 Damage and adds the fire descriptor. It deals 5 Fire Damage to wielder every round unless they are immune or are a without.

Moderate Modifications

Atlantean Weapon: An ancient and fantastic blade from a time forever lost. These weapons are extremely rare. +4 Damage, +4 to hit and +2 to Defense.

Muan Weapon: A mystical treasure from an ancient time that has washed ashore on the pacific rim. These weapons are extremely rare. +4 damage, +3 hit, +1 Defense, Minor supernatural attack: 10 damage, cold.
