OAGS stats for nuclear bomb. Nuclear Bombs have a Potency Rating from 1 to 5.
KA-BOOM
In the initial moment of the explosion, the following effects occur.
Ground Zero: Characters at or near ground zero take 80 points of Damage. Characters who make a Defence check at Difficulty 10 take half damage. Characters who are immune to Fire Damage take half damage (so a character who made his Defence check and was immune to fire would take 20 points of Damage).
Fireball: Characters within a number of miles equal to the Potency Rating of ground zero are caught in the fireball. They take 60 points of Damage. Again, characters immune to Fire take half Damage, as do characters who pass a Difficulty 8 Defence check.
Lethal Burns: Characters within a quarter of a mile of the fireball take 30 points of Fire Damage, halved with a Difficulty 6 Defence check.
Serious Burns: Characters with a number of miles of the fireball equal to the Potency Rating take 20 points of Fire Damage, halved with a Difficulty 4 Defence check.
Moderate Burns: Characters within a number of miles of the fireball equal to twice the Potency Rating take 10 points of Fire Damage, halved with a Difficulty 2 Defence check.
Radioactive Fallout
For an airburst bomb, all characters within a number of miles equal to three times the Potency rating will suffer from acute radiation poisoning.
In the event of a surface detonation, all character within a number of miles equal to ten times the Potency rating suffer acute radiation poisoning and radioactive dust is carried by the wind, causing radiation poisoning downwind.
