OAGS Racial Advantages

Vampires

Vampiric Power: 24cp
The character is a vampire and is empowered during the hours of darkness. From sunset to sunrise, his Perception, Strength, Toughness and Willpower are increased by 3 and his Athletics, Block, Dodge, Melee and Stealth are increased by 2. He also gains the Lesser Regeneration and Hypnosis Moderate Supernatural Powers.

Line of Rasputin: 6cp
The vampire is a child or grandchild of Rasputin. In addition to the powers other vampires gain at night, he enjoys an additional +2 to Toughness, +1 to Willpower and the Elemental Manipulation (Air) Supernatural Power.

Line of Iago: 6cp
The vampire is a child or grandchild of Iago. In addition to the powers other vampires gain at night, he enjoys a +3 bonus to Socialize and the Mind Control Supernatural Power in place of Hypnosis.

Line of Karnstein: 15cp
The vampire is a child or grandchild of Mircalla Karnstein. In addition to the powers other vampires gain at night, she enjoys the Shapeshifting Supernatural Power.

Line of the Ripper: 6cp
The vampire is a child or grandchild of Jack the Ripper. In addition to the powers other vampires gain at night, he enjoys an additional +1 to Strength and Toughness, the Natural Weapon Advantage and the Animal Control Supernatural Power for one specific kind of animal.

Line of Bathory: 9cp
The vampire is a child or grandchild of Elizabeth Bathory. In addition to the powers other vampires gain at night, she enjoys an additional +1 to Athletics and Dodge and the Mistform Supernatural Power.

Werewolves

Controlled Werewolf: 24cp
The character is a werewolf who has learnt to control his emotions and thus keep his own mind while in wolf-form. This includes the Disadvantages Allergy(wolfsbane) and Weakness(silver). During the new moon, he suffers from severe depression and lethargy, imposing a -2 penalty to all rolls. He may, at any time other than within 36 hours of the new moon, transform into wolf-form.

Transformation is fast, counting as a free action. While in wolf-form, the character enjoys +5 to Perception, Strength and Toughness, +2 to Athletics, Block, Dodge and Melee and the Natural Weapon and Regeneration Advantages. He suffers the Minor Foible(bloodlust), Mute, No Hands and Nonhuman Appearance Disadvantages.

Blitzwulfen Beta: 15cp
The character is a werewolf and a member of a Blitzwulfen pack. This is treated as the Uncontrolled Werewolf Disadvantage, except for the following: if the character transforms in the presence of their pack's Alpha, he will obey the Alpha's commands and, if the Alpha wishes, restrain himself from the normal instinctive behaviour of a werewolf. If the character is a PC, he remains under the player's control when he transforms, if the Alpha is present.

Blitzwulfen Alpha: 25cp
The character is a werewolf and the holder of one of the Blitzwulfen rings. This is treated as Controlled Werewolf, apart from the following: while transformed, the character may, with a successful difficulty 3 Socialize check, control any other transformed werewolf that is present. He can use this influence to prevent them from following their instincts to hunt and kill humans. This does not work on Controlled Werewolves or other Blitzwulfen Alphas.

Note to GMs: Most Item-dependent Advantages are pointed on the assumption that the item will sometimes be lost, stolen or unavailable. Because the lose of a Blitzwulfen ring is utterly crippling to a character; causing him to go from having a 25cp Advantage to having a 15cp Disadvantage, it enjoys plot protection and should never be lost, stolen or unavailable. This plot protection is reflected in it's point cost.
