OAGS Weremolok

A form a lycanthropy so far only seen in An'Taks. Unlike other lycan afflictions it causes the victim to slim down to a more athletic form rather than bulk up to become stronger. The form is that of a stony lizard with arms, back and sides of legs covered in barbed spines. It has a long, prehensile tail and venomous bite. It can swim and operate in water as well as any water lizard.

The character is an An'Tak weremolok who has learnt to control his emotions and thus keep his own mind while in molok-form. This includes the Disadvantages Allergy(thunderweed) and Weakness(silver). He may, at any time, transform into molok-form.

Transformation is fast, counting as a free action. While in molok-form, the character enjoys +4 to Athletics and Perception, +2 to Dodge and Melee and the Aquatic, Natural Armour 4, Virulent Bite, Lesser Regeneration and Tentacle(Str 4) Advantages. He suffers the Minor Foible(paranoia), Mute and No Hands Disadvantages. Finally, anyone who grapples, throws or trips him takes Damage equal to his Toughness.

Uncontrolled Weremolok: -15cp
The character is an uncontrolled weremolok. This includes the Disadvantages Allergy(thunderweed) and Weakness(silver).

When hungry, angry, afraid, aroused or otherwise stressed, the character may transform into molok-form. In some circumstances a successful Willpower check can prevent this.

He suffers the Animal Intelligence, Minor Foible(paranoia), Mute and No Hands Disadvantages. His Dodge and Melee become 7, his Willpower becomes 5 and his Marksmanship and Socialize become 1. Finally, anyone who grapples, throws or trips him takes Damage equal to his Toughness.

If the character is a PC, he is controlled by the GM while in molok-form.

The Tentacle advantage represents a prehensile lizardlike tongue.

There is currently no magick item to regulate transformations to weremoloks. There exists a ritual amongst An'Tak shamans to force transformation back into natural form. Through serious meditations and training a weremolok can learn to retain conscious thought in molok form. An'Taks believe that it is deep connection to the spirit world that facilitates this, as only afflicted Shamans and Berserkers have managed to attain this control.
